Resurrection Remix – Android in all its glory !

The Resurrection Remix is one of the most popular aftermarket ROMs available for dozens of Android devices from major OEMs. It has earned a good name because of its stability, good performance and decent battery backup. To describe appropriately, the ROM is a “remix” of the best feature found in AOKP, CyanogenMod, ParanoidAndroid, OMNI, DU and the original Resurrection builds. Thus, it is a pleasant amalgamation of performance, customization, power and new features in a single package for a range of Android devices.
So, I grabbed the latest version of the ROM (5.7.1) and have been playing with it since a week.

Customizations:
Apart from all features that you usually see in AOSP and CM-based Marshmallow ROMs, Resurrection Remix features CM Theme Chooser and an awesome set of options packed together as ‘Configurations’ that lets you do heavy customization your phone’s interface, homescreen, lockscreen, notification drawer, display, buttons and other things.

Battery Life:
Considering the amount of customization the Resurrection Remix offers, the battery life on this ROM is pretty decent. I wouldn’t say that its better than the CM13 or the DU, but its not that less also. I have been playing Pokemon GO all the day with LTE and i got almost 5 and half hours of screen on time. If you use wifi all the time then i am pretty sure that this ROM will give about 6-7 hours of SOT.

Stability:
There were reports of random reboots with this ROM, but with the latest version they have managed to fix this. I have yet to have a single app force close, At least for me, this ROM seems to be super stable and has been working amazingly well as my daily driver.
I found this pretty impressive, especially considering the amount of customizations it has to offer.

Final Word:
The Marshmallow version of this ROM is pretty impressive and worth a try. Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM. If you love to customize your android experience as me, I would definitely suggest you to flash this ROM asap.
This is a pretty stable rom and can be called as the Godfather of ROMs when it comes to customizing stock android.
